Minnesota Gastroenterology’s Lakeville Clinic is hiring a skilled front desk medical assistant to support patient flow, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and maintain accurate records in the EHR.

The role requires 1–2 years in direct care or a related medical field, and dependence on strong communication and multitasking skills. This full-time position is onsite at Lakeville Clinic with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with 1 year direct care experience.
• Diploma or equivalent from Medical Assistant program.
• LPN license or EMT/ CNA with experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet visitors and patients.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance info.
• Check in appointments for clinic and endoscopy center.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
• Assist patients with forms while HIPAA compliant.
• Enter patient information into EHR and PM systems.
• Coordinate daily clinic schedules.
• Address patient and visitor inquiries.
• Manage the cash box.
• Maintain a welcoming lobby.
• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Interview patients for medical histories and vitals.
• Follow care plans and discharge instructions.

1-2 years EMR experience preferred

Phlebotomy experience preferred
