Job summary

OATS Transit is hiring drivers in Carrollton, MO to transport seniors, individuals with disabilities, and the rural public. You will operate mini-vans, Ford Transits or a wide body bus. Non-Exempt, Hourly, Variable Hour Employee.

Join a team focused on community service and complete responsibilities including assisting riders, securing mobility devices, conducting vehicle inspections, using the in-vehicle tablet, and submitting paperwork while adhering to regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Class E or CDL license with no more than 4 points.
• Must pass a U.S. DOT physical and road test.
• Must take and pass drug screening with random testing.
• Must be bondable and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist riders on and off the bus with respect and courtesy.
• Safely secure wheelchairs and mobility devices per procedures.
• Maintain excellent condition and cleanliness of the assigned vehicle.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Use in-vehicle tablet for trip information and timing.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to regional office.
• Attend routine paid training and comply with all rules.
