Job summary

Sierra Basin Post Acute seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with resident care plans. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, document care, and report health changes to the Nurse Supervisor promptly.

Role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and adherence to privacy laws. CPR preferred; licensed CNA is required; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or services.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts in a descriptive manner.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor promptly.
• Assist residents with daily activities and personal care tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report privacy concerns.
• Prepare resident rooms and assist with transfers or discharge packing.
• Observe for pressure areas and report skin changes to prevent ulcers.
• Support safe patient handling and participate in nursing reports.
