Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is seeking compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our growing team and provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes.

We offer weekly pay with direct deposit, free medical insurance, and referral bonuses. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of personal care experience, reliable transportation, and a commitment to dignified, person-centered care.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
Proof of current TB testing required
Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
Must have reliable transportation
If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan
Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support
Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and ADLs
Assist with meals, light housekeeping, laundry, and daily routines
Provide companionship and emotional support; encourage independence and social engagement
Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility as per care plan
Provide medication reminders per care plan
Assist with transportation to medical appointments and community activities
