At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support while helping clients maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Previous experience as Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, or Direct Care Worker is a plus.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan.
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant, provide compassionate and dependable support based on each client's needs and care plan.
• Assist with bathing and grooming.
• Provide toileting and incontinence care.
• Assist with dressing and personal hygiene.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Help clients maintain dignity and independence.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when applicable.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Assist clients with daily routines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage independence and social engagement.
• Assist clients with appropriate daily activities.
• Develop a respectful and supportive relationship with clients.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers as per care plan.
• Support safe movement throughout the home.
• Provide medication reminders according to care plan.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands when applicable.
