Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our growing team. We provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred
• Proof of current TB testing required
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position
• Must have reliable transportation
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable
• Ability to work independently while following the client's care plan
• Must successfully pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support
• Assist with bathing, grooming, incontinence care, and ADLs
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, light housekeeping, laundry, and home safety
• Provide companionship and social engagement, respecting client dignity
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement in the home
• Provide medication reminders per care plan
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and errands
