Job summary

Cogir Senior Living seeks Care Partners to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort, safety and well-being. You will work in a team to support independence and dignity in a respectful environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, and participation in life enrichment activities, while maintaining open communication with residents, families, and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements, such as CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA, or the willingness/ability to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) per safety guidelines.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support, companionship, and engagement.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping (beds, tidying rooms).
• Promote open communication between residents, families, and healthcare staff.
