Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking dedicated Care Partners to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents. You will assist with daily living activities, support comfort and safety, and work within a cohesive team to foster a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while upholding dignity and privacy. Prioritizing independence, empathy, and strong communication with residents, families, and healthcare staff is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA).
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• At least 12 months of professional caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring).
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support; promote independence.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping and room tidying.
• Promote open communication with residents, families and staff.
