Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, promote safety, privacy, and dignity, and work in a supportive team to create a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities include helping residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and light housekeeping, encouraging participation in enrichment activities, and maintaining open communication with families and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 12+ months of caregiving experience preferred.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) following safety protocols.
• Provide compassion, engagement, and companionship to promote independence and dignity.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs and maintain open communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Assist with light housekeeping duties (beds, tidying rooms).
• Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
