Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, ensure safety and comfort, and work in a team to create a nurturing environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, caregiver certification per state, and CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain. Weekend rotation is expected, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) while following safety protocols.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support, companionship, and engagement.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping (making beds, tidying rooms).
• Promote open communication among residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
