Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking Care Partners to provide compassionate, direct care to residents. You will assist with activities of daily living, promote comfort and safety, and support independence within a team.

The role emphasizes dignity, empathy, and collaboration with healthcare teams. A high school diploma and caregiver certification are required, with weekend rotation coordination available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Caregiver training/certification (CNA/GNA/PCA/DCA) or ability to obtain.
• First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain.
• At least 12 months of professional caregiving experience.
• Experience with memory care is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Weekend rotation willingness.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) following safety protocols.
• Provide independence-supportive care, emotional support, and companionship.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks (beds, tidying).
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
