The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and a positive, patient attitude. Weekend rotation is required; CDA certifications or willingness to obtain are needed where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transferring, while following safety protocols.
• Prioritize independence and provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Encourage participation in life enrichment activity programs.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as making beds and tidying rooms.
• Promote open communication among healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.
