Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to join our team in High Point, NC. You will prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility, following planned menus and recipes while maintaining quality and presentation.

This role emphasizes food safety, sanitation, and resident service; responsibilities include inventory assistance and collaboration with staff. A high school diploma and relevant certification are preferred, with opportunities for hands-on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook or food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menus and recipes.
• Ensure quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
