Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow menus, ensure quality and presentation, and maintain food safety standards.

You will assist with inventory, work with residents and staff to provide friendly service, and support daily operations. A high school diploma and ServSafe/Food Handler certification are required; prior cooking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in cookery or food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must hold ServSafe or Food Handler certification as required by law.
• Residency within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
