Banyan Treatment Center in Milford, DE, is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to support patients during recovery. You will supervise patients, monitor safety, and coordinate with medical and therapy staff to ensure high-quality care.

This full-time, on-site role offers hands-on experience in addiction and mental health treatment, including group activities, patient transport, and discharge preparation, with comprehensive benefits for FT staff.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
• Preferred: experience in substance use disorder or mental health treatment.
• Preferred: associate's degree or higher.

Aufgaben

• Patient Supervision and Safety: Monitor patients and facility grounds, conduct safety checks, and communicate with medical staff for attention needs.
• Waive Testing: Measure and report vital signs, conduct UDS and pregnancy tests, and comply with company policies.
• Patient Interaction and Support: Maintain respectful and professional interactions with patients, offering emotional support, referring clinical concerns to therapy staff.
• Communication and Team Collaboration: Share relevant patient information with the Team Leader, Supervisor/Operations Director while collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality care.
• Daily Program and Facility Management: Assist in patient transport, group coordination, and recreational activities; supervise supplies and discharge preparations.
