Qualifications

• Requires current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to obtain vital signs and report abnormalities.
• Knowledge of patient care activities and infection control.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide drinks, assist with meals, and support with walking and baths.
• Offer clean linens and gowns; maintain patient safety at all times.
• Assist bedside RN by obtaining vitals and reporting changes promptly.
• Maintain safety measures like bedside alarms and gait belts.
• Demonstrate compassionate bedside manner in a fast-paced environment.
