Job summary

Cincinnati Animal CARE is seeking a Medical Scheduler to join our team and support CAC’s mission. You will be the first point of contact for medical clinic clients, help organize records, and ensure animals are healthy and ready for adoption.

The role involves coordinating appointments and surgeries, triaging requests, staying current on shelter medicine, and working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. You will join a mission-driven team dedicated to animal welfare and community impact.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to clients including fosters, adopters, volunteers, and staff.
• Coordinate daily appointments and surgeries for shelter animals.
• Triage incoming phone and email requests according to protocol.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Stay current on shelter medicine best practice and follow protocol.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for all medical clinic clients.
• Assist in organizing medical records and ensure animals are healthy and ready for adoption.
• Process inventory deliveries and Pharmacy supplies.
• Attend and participate in training sessions and meetings.
• Escalate complex medical or customer service issues to the Medical Team.
• Perform other shelter duties as directed by the Medical Manager or Medical Director.
