Job summary

Normandy-Terrace-Nursing-and-Rehabilitation-Center is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to guide residents and families through the admissions process with compassion and attention to detail. You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth transitions and strong community engagement.

You will build relationships with families, referral sources, and healthcare partners while maintaining accurate records and reporting on admissions activity.

Qualifications

• Excellent written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine passion for serving elderly and disabled individuals.
• Strong organizational and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with residents, families, and referral sources to ensure a smooth admissions process.
• Complete bedside assessments, review documentation, and clinically accept residents for admission.
• Prepare weekly reports and maintain organized records of all admissions activity.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support seamless transitions for new residents.
• Represent the facility in community presentations on long-term care and health services.
• Promote community outreach and strengthen relationships with healthcare partners.
