Apploi is seeking a detailed Admissions Coordinator to streamline the admissions process for new residents and to ensure smooth transitions into the facility. You will coordinate with hospitals, families, physicians, and providers to facilitate referrals and admissions.

In this role, you will verify insurance benefits, assist with authorizations, and collaborate with nursing, social services, and other departments to prepare for new admissions, while maintaining accurate records and delivering

• Previous experience in healthcare admissions, long-term care, skilled nursing, or a related setting preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and healthcare documentation is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and manage the admissions process from referral through resident arrival.
• Review referral and admission documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate with hospitals, families, physicians, insurance providers, and referral sources.
• Verify insurance benefits and assist with authorization requirements.
