Job summary

Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a Company Manager to oversee artist care, contracts, and logistics for visiting and local artists across productions. You will coordinate housing, travel, and accommodations, manage payroll and budgets, and act as the central liaison between artists, creative teams, and internal departments with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of company management or production management experience in theater or live performance.
• Working familiarity with Actors’ Equity Association agreements; LORT experience preferred.
• Strong budgeting, financial tracking, and spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent organization, communication, and discretion with confidential information.
• Proficiency with MS Office and payroll/CRM databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead artist contracting, labor compliance, and onboarding with the General Management team.
• Manage travel, housing, and logistics for artists and visiting productions.
• Oversee payroll, budgets, and expenditure reconciliation for each production.
• Serve as primary liaison for artists, agents, and vendors, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Support wellbeing and workplace relations in collaboration with HR and artistic leadership.
