Job summary

Campbell Tractor Co., located in Idaho, is seeking a proactive equipment salesperson to represent the company and drive sales of compact construction and mowing equipment to new and existing customers.

You will maintain product knowledge, manage customer information, and participate in events and equipment demonstrations to showcase offerings and financing options as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of equipment sales experience.
• Knowledge of compact construction or mowing equipment preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent Campbell Tractor Co. for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
• Maintain current product knowledge on equipment features and benefits.
• Monitor competitive activity and communicate findings to management.
• Maintain customer information in the CRM for the territory.
• Follow the defined sales process and participate in customer events and demos.
• Conduct new equipment field demonstrations and attend sales meetings.

Description

Purpose:

Sells new and used Compact Construction Equipment and Commercial Mowing Equipment to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities:

• Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area
• Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
• Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management, accordingly
• Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management
• Knows and follows a defined sales process
• Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment
• Assists with the preparation and execution of customer events and equipment demos
• Conducts new equipment field demonstrations
• Monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management
• Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
• Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
• Attends Sales Meetings
• May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes.
• Updates CRM with the latest customer information

Requirements

Requirements:

• 1+ years equipment sales experience
• Knowledge of compact construction equipment or mowing equipment and operational practices preferred
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
