Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation is seeking a Digital Navigator to guide community members in Alaska through affordable internet access, devices, and basic digital skills. The role supports tribal members with individualized or small group coaching, in person at the NANA Village Office or remotely via phone, email, text, or video chat.

The position is part-time, averaging 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, based in the NANA Village Office.

Qualifications

• Six to twelve months of customer service or administrative support experience.
• Experience in community outreach or technology support is a plus.
• Ability to learn new technology quickly and adapt to changing needs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Initiate interactions with clients seeking assistance and assess their needs.
• Discuss home internet access, devices, and digital skill levels with clients.
• Set goals and document progress for each client to track outcomes.
• Advise on free or low-cost home internet options and assist with applications.
• Provide information on affordable devices and repair options for clients.
• Plan and manage client assistance to meet agreed goals and report results.
