Job summary

The City of Austin is seeking a Coordinator for the Community Services Program in the Watershed Protection department to advance equity efforts, coordinate services, and support training and outreach across city initiatives.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, analyze data, identify grant opportunities, and help develop short- and long-range plans, while maintaining compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Leads initiatives related to community services and outreach.
• Serves as the primary liaison and advisor to City Council, City departments, residents, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborates with internal & external stakeholders to promote/improve services and engage the community.
• Arranges staff development and training opportunities related to the services.
• Assists in the development of short- and long-range plans.
• Identifies, collects, and analyzes data; compiles reports and makes recommendations.
