Job summary

McLennan County's Community Supervision and Corrections Department is seeking a CSR Program Coordinator to manage community service restitution cases, interview supervisees, and assign CSR hours to partner nonprofits. You will maintain records in the CSCD case management system and ensure accurate reporting.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate degree preferred), valid Texas driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laws related to the application of community service restitution.
• Knowledge of CJAD standards for CSR programs.
• Effective interpersonal skills with offenders, public, and co-workers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Analytical reasoning to solve complex problems.
• Willingness to work and exceed minimum expectations.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License.
• Must provide proof of current automobile liability insurance.
• Must have a working and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate CSR case files in CSCD's system.
• Interview probationers/defendants to assess CSR suitability.
• Assign CSR hours to nonprofit agencies.
• Monitor progress and report to CSOs and participants.
• Verify and input CSR participation data.
• Prepare CSR records and reports and correspond with providers.
• Provide testimony regarding CSR participation in court when required.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with nonprofit agencies.
