Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laws related to CSR.
• Knowledge of CJAD standards for CSR programs.
• Effective interpersonal skills in dealing with offenders, public and co-workers.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and provide proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains accurate CSR case files via documentation, data entry, and scanning.
• Interviews probationers/defendants on supervision to determine CSR suitability.
• Assigns CSR hours to nonprofit agencies aligned with CSCD's CSR program.
• Tracks progress and informs CSOs and participants of outcomes and compliance.
• Monitors and enters CSR participation information in the CSCD system.
• Responds to telephone inquiries from agencies, participants, CSOs, Courts and staff.
• Prepares CSR records and correspondence; submits statistical reports on CSR hours.
• Plans special projects with community nonprofits; maintains Reciprocal Agreements.
