Job summary

El Paso County seeks a Community Resource Coordinator to collaborate with homeless and justice-involved populations, migrant coordination, and partner agencies to address the broad range of community needs. You will coordinate services, build relationships with law enforcement, schools, and nonprofits, and ensure access to community resources for clients.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field plus 1 year case management experience; 2 years in target populations preferred.
• Experience with migrants, homeless, justice involved, or low-income populations preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to access County network with personal mobile device by start date.

Responsibilities

• Identify local resources and coordinate transition from jail to reentry services.
• Establish relationships with government, nonprofit providers and community partners.
• Coordinate information flow and eligibility for community reentry services.
• Conduct regular meetings with case managers and review programs.
• Maintain data entry and reports for HMIS/HUD monthly reporting.
