Job summary

Grameen America is seeking a Relationship Associate in New York to deliver excellent customer service, manage borrower relationships, and support outreach and member recruitment. The role reports to the Branch Manager and requires local travel for in-person engagement with entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities include weekly center meetings, verifying borrower information, and maintaining accurate records while upholding the organization’s mission to empower low-income women.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, or two years of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly center meetings to collect loan repayments and provide program updates.
• Build strong relationships to support member retention and growth.
• Respond to member inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Perform in-person home verifications and business visits for borrower information.
• Adhere to company policies and assist with priority projects as needed.
• Conduct local outreach to recruit new members and engage the community.
