Job summary

Community Trust Credit Union is seeking a People and Partnerships Coordinator to grow membership and strengthen partnerships. You will lead outreach to businesses, present financial education sessions, and coordinate employee engagement events to boost morale and culture.

Based in Gurnee with travel across Lake County, the role requires evening/weekend availability and on-site presence. You will manage social media content and report on engagement metrics to support growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation, networking, and public speaking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an outgoing, relationship-focused personality.
• Experience with business development, community relations, employee engagement, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written communication skills and experience creating engaging content.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and pursue business development opportunities that support membership and organizational growth.
• Generate qualified leads through networking, community outreach, referrals, email campaigns, social media, and strategic partnerships.
• Conduct presentations, meetings, and financial education sessions for individuals, businesses, and community organizations.
• Plan and coordinate employee engagement events and activities that support morale, connection, and organizational culture.
• Create, curate, and manage social media content across multiple platforms while ensuring consistent brand messaging and alignment with marketing objectives.
