Qualifications

  • Experience in corporate philanthropy, health or human services programs.
  • 1-3 years preferred in related philanthropy roles.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and evaluates sponsorship and grant funding requests and presents funding recommendations based on strategic direction and business needs.
  • Prepares materials for review meetings, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Engages with outside agencies regularly; performs due diligence on prospective grantees, including site visits and budget reviews.
  • Designs, implements and manages all phases of the program lifecycle for Highmark programs and events, including goals, tasks, timelines and budgeting.
  • Manages special events and employee engagement activities and collaborates with internal departments and partners.
