Job summary

Highmark Health in Pittsburgh is seeking a Program Manager to define, plan, and deliver complex programs that require cross‑functional collaboration and management of interdependencies across multiple projects.

You will direct efforts of teams of employees and contractors, assemble project teams, develop comprehensive program plans, monitor scope, schedule and budget, and present status updates to executives.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years’ experience in a project manager role for application development projects.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree.
• PMI certification.

Responsibilities

• Defines program strategy and approach with business and technical organizations.
• Plans and maintains a program roadmap with cross-functional activities/projects.
• Leads teams to assemble project groups and develop comprehensive plans.
• Monitors scope, schedule, and budget; reports on program status.
• Directs corrective actions to maintain program viability.
• Develops and maintains positive customer relationships.
• Delivers presentations of project status throughout the lifecycle.
• Mentors less experienced Project Management team members.
