Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Program Manager to define, plan, and deliver complex programs with cross-functional collaboration across multiple projects. You will manage teams, align with executives, and ensure scope, time, and budget objectives are met.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in program/project leadership, familiarity with SDLC, and a PMP or equivalent training is preferred. This is an office-based role within a healthcare environment requiring strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in a project manager and/or project leadership role.
• Health care industry knowledge beneficial.
• Experience with an industry standard software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• PMP certification or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with business and technical organizations to drive out program strategy and approach. Organizes, plans, and maintains Program roadmap consisting of cross-functional activities/projects.
• Lead Project Managers and Program team in the development and maintenance of comprehensive plans for a defined program.
• Engage with Executive Sponsor and Business Owner to understand objectives and align program goals.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on Program status including scope, schedule, budget, and alignment to goals; take corrective action as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships; present program status across the lifecycle.
• Adhere to project management methods and audit requirements; support improvement of practices.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
