Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Specialist – Outreach and Recruitment to promote workforce development programs and connect participants with training and job placement opportunities.

The role focuses on developing equitable outreach, building community partnerships, and representing the program at events and fairs to meet enrollment targets. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 1–3 years in non-profit settings.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Equivalent work experience accepted in lieu of education.
  • 1–3 years experience in non-profit, social services, workforce development, or related fields.
  • Experience in customer services and/or client engagement with at-risk populations a plus.
  • Skilled in communicating verbally and writing effectively; skilled in organizing and presenting material.

Responsibilities

  • Upholds and models Goodwill’s mission and values.
  • Assist in developing and implementing outreach plans.
  • Represent Goodwill at public events and career fairs.
  • Develop and maintain referral streams with community stakeholders.
  • Follow up with individuals who showed interest but did not enroll.
  • Support program events related to education, training, and employment.
