Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Specialist – Career Services to help program participants find and retain employment through job readiness and placement services. You will manage a caseload and work with a team to overcome barriers to employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years experience in case management or related fields.
• Career readiness or resume writing a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; organized and able to present material.
• Experience in workforce development and community partnerships preferred.
• Must be flexible with hours to support program needs.
• Must meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Goodwill's mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with confidentiality.
• Receive referrals and ensure seamless transitions.
• Conduct intake assessments to identify goals.
• Administer interest/skills assessments as appropriate.
• Develop an Individual Service Plan aligned to career goals.
• Support progress updates and service coordination.
• Prepare resumes and cover letters aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate with Community Relations to create job leads.
• Conduct mock interviews to build hiring skills.
• Update progress in Client Management System.
• Support training, job fairs, and outreach activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
