Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Manager – Workforce Programs to oversee core employment career training programs, including coordinating outreach, enrollment, and client services. The role emphasizes leadership, policy development, and ensuring program quality.

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and at least five years in non-profit or workforce development, with strong MS Office skills and grant management experience. Travel and varied responsibilities are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in non-profit, social services, or workforce development.
• Experience leading people and teams; grant-funded program experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee one or more core employment career training programs (Good Careers Center, Good Careers Academy, Reentry Services, Upskill).
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes driving service excellence.
• Lead program staff; hire, train, and evaluate; coach for advancement.
• Manage budgets, grants, and contracts; monitor spend and compliance.
• Coordinate reporting, data collection, and performance metrics.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders to align mission and outcomes.
