Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio seeks a Specialist – Outreach and Recruitment to support the Workforce Development Unit, representing programs at community events and building referral partnerships to connect participants with career training and job placement opportunities.

You will develop outreach plans, maintain stakeholder networks, and promote program participation, with flexible hours to support events and enrollment activities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in non-profit, social services, or workforce development.
• Experience in customer services and/or client engagement with at risk populations is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to organize and present material.
• Experience in workforce development and community partnerships preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold and model Goodwill's mission, core values, and servant leadership.
• Develop a strategic and equitable outreach plan with the program manager.
• Implement outreach and recruitment plans to meet targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Identify opportunities to incorporate participant voice in outreach activities.
• Maintain referral streams with community stakeholders and partners.
• Represent program at public events, community resource fairs, career fairs, and meetings.
• Follow up with no-show intakes and interested individuals.
