FirstService Residential is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to provide leadership for a homeowners association, reporting to the Board and guiding staff across operations and programs. You will oversee day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance with governing documents and applicable laws.

You will lead budgeting, staff development and community services partnerships, driving strategies that protect homeowner interests and enhance service delivery across the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field and three years’ experience in Property Operations, Hospitality or Construction.
• Seven years of successful community management experience, with at least four years leading staff.
• Experience managing multiple departments in a small or medium-sized organization.
• Knowledge of physical building management, condominium law, and financial planning.
• Valid driver’s license and state‑mandated vehicle insurance.
• Commitment to obtain CPM, PCAM, ARM or AMS designations or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and direction for short- and long-range plans; align with Board objectives.
• Review organization structure and functions; recommend changes to the Board.
• Partner with public, private and volunteer organizations to provide community services.
• Support Board sub-committees and ensure meeting agendas and reports.
• Develop and implement annual operating budget, with Board approval.
• Monitor monthly financial position and report to the Board.
• Hire, train, and supervise all community staff per the management plan.
• Maintain emergency and evacuation plans with local agencies.
• Ensure compliance with governing documents and civil codes.
