Job summary

AAMCI in Dayton, OH is seeking a dedicated Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a passion for resident service while ensuring compliance with Section 8 and Tax Credit programs.

You will manage leasing, budgeting, vendor relations, and on-site staff, using Yardi Voyager to track finances, rent rolls, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of property management experience, with Affordable housing focus.
• Strong proficiency in Yardi Voyager (Yardi Affordable Housing).
• Experience with Project Based Section 8 and Tax Credit.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong leadership and resident relations abilities.
• Ability to manage leasing, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage property operations, leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and resident relations.
• Use Yardi Voyager to manage budgets, rent rolls, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
• Oversee leasing: marketing vacancies, tours, screening, and lease execution.
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing programs and keep records.
• Supervise on-site staff and provide guidance.
• Foster a positive community by organizing resident events and addressing concerns.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and quality maintenance.
