Fairfield Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager – Affordable to support property operations and ensure compliance with affordable housing programs. You will mentor leasing teams and drive resident satisfaction while managing financial tasks in a practical, team-focused environment.

The role emphasizes LIHTC compliance, Yardi usage, and strong accounting foundations. Flexibility to work weekends/evenings is required, with a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• LIHTC experience and fair housing knowledge required or preferred.
• Experience leading or supervising staff is preferred.
• Proficiency with Yardi or related property management accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Complete bank deposits and account reconciliations.
• Use Yardi software to manage property financials.
• Verify income and monitor rent limits for LIHTC and HUD programs.
• Prepare for inspections and maintain housing authority relationships.
• Lease apartments and respond to resident inquiries promptly.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention.
• Mentor leasing team members and support the Community Manager in daily operations.
