Job summary

aamci is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties in PA. You will lead a team, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate leases and move-ins, and manage resident relations with a focus on service quality.

Responsibilities include administrative tasks, rent collection, vacancies, and annual certifications, while maintaining budgetary controls and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, with a focus on affordable housing communities.
• Knowledge of Yardi Voyager, including Yardi Affordable Housing modules.
• Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and programs, including Project Based Section 8.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties.
• Complete administrative tasks and greet residents and visitors.
• Enter work orders and interview residential applicants.
• Prepare leases and coordinate move-in paperwork.
• Complete annual and interim recertifications of residents.
• Review monthly financial statements and report variances.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and report incidents as required.
• Hire, develop, and lead team members according to company policies.
