Job summary

Cardinal Group Companies is seeking a Community Manager (Full-Time, Exempt) to protect, maintain, and enhance the value of our residential communities in Reno, NV. You will direct and coordinate the community's overall operational activities to maximize living experiences for residents.

The role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and hands-on management of leasing, maintenance, and resident relations, with a focus on achieving annual goals and Upscale customer service.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years' experience in property management.
• Strong working knowledge of leasing, marketing, construction, residential law and resident relations.
• Working knowledge of property management software; Entrata is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Google platform.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a positive, professional, and client-oriented attitude with team members, residents, clients, and the public.
• Strive for improvements in community performance to meet or exceed annual financial and operational goals.
• Direct day-to-day activities of loss prevention, risk management, safety/security, maintenance, marketing, leasing and ongoing facility upkeep.
• Develop working income for operating the property by managing cash flow requirements and leasing strategy.
• Analyze and produce monthly financial statements including variances from budget and cash management; strategize receivables collection.
• Maintain complete and accurate community files and records; ensure lease data is input correctly into management software.
• Coordinate collection and documentation of all revenues following lease obligations of residents.
• Engage, contract, supervise and approve invoices for goods/services required to maintain the community.
• Lead on-site maintenance technicians, office staff and leasing team members.
• Manage resident relations regarding repairs, rent charges, lease issues and other concerns.
• Participate in Cardinal U training and monitor Team Member participation.
