Job summary

Berger Communities is seeking a Community Manager for The Shoreline Apartments in Cleveland, OH. This role leads the onsite team, drives leasing performance, and champions an exceptional resident experience.

As the face of the community, you’ll oversee budgeting, renewals, and market positioning while building strong relationships with residents and the local market. A dynamic culture supports growth and achievement.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management or multifamily housing.
• Proven leadership and team-building abilities.
• Strong leasing, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall financial performance of the community.
• Set and achieve leasing, occupancy, and retention goals.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing onsite team.
• Handle budgeting, expenses, and capital planning.
• Oversee the full resident lifecycle, from prospect to renewal.
• Ensure rent collection and manage delinquency and legal processes as needed.
• Partner with the Service Manager to maintain curb appeal, apartment readiness, and community standards.
• Stay informed on the Cleveland multifamily market and competitive properties.
• Create a positive resident experience through strong customer service and community engagement.
• Drive leasing success through marketing initiatives, outreach efforts, and resident referral programs.
