Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to safeguard and maintain the community grounds, manage service requests, and support resident safety. You'll collaborate with residents and management to ensure timely completion of tasks and upkeep of property assets.

The role requires driving with a valid license, experience in HVAC/electrical/plumbing and familiarity with maintenance software/tablets. OA safety and on-call duties are part of the job.

Qualifications

• A valid in-state driver’s license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA certifications or trainings are a plus.
• HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Pool Operation experience are a PLUS.
• Proficiency with electronic devices/tablets and industry software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory through preventative maintenance, work-orders, and home refurbs.
• Keep the community grounds, common areas, and vacant lots clean and free of debris and trash.
• Complete all work in a timely manner, without sacrificing quality or safety standards.
• Respond to after-hour emergency calls according to on-call schedule.
• Read water meters, identify, and resolve leaks within the community as applicable.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Aid in new home delivery and set-up and report any warranty/follow-up work to management.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Participate in all required team/safety meetings.
• Uphold OSHA standards and maintain Personal Protective Equipment as required by State law.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions through snow removal and de-icing when applicable.
• Operate and maintain all company vehicles according to compliance and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and residents.
• Ability to work safely around pets, service animals, and wildlife.
• Additional duties as assigned by management and subject to change.
