Job summary

YES Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep community grounds safe, organized, and stocked. You will interact with residents, complete service requests and inspections, and support asset upkeep across the property.

You will participate in team safety, follow OSHA standards, and help with on-site deliveries and setup. The role requires a valid in-state driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• OSHA certifications or trainings a plus.
• Proficiency with industry software and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rental inventory and perform preventative maintenance.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and safe.
• Complete work orders and inspections promptly.
• Respond to after-hours emergency calls per schedule.
• Read water meters, identify leaks, and resolve issues.
• Organize maintenance facilities, tools, and equipment.
• Assist with new home delivery and setup, report warranty work.
• Deliver resident notices as requested by management.
• Attend team and safety meetings as required.
• Uphold OSHA standards and PPE usage per state law.
• Maintain safe winter road conditions and de-ice when applicable.
• Operate and maintain company vehicles per safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with team, vendors, and residents.
• Work safely around pets and service animals.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
