Job summary

Sun Communities in Navarre, Ohio, is seeking Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities. You will repair homes, maintain grounds, and ensure clean, safe, inviting spaces for residents.

The role requires outdoor work, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Prior experience in apartment maintenance and snow removal is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months maintenance experience in multifamily housing preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred, including plow trucks if applicable.
• Broad knowledge of general maintenance techniques and repair work.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in temperature fluctuations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to preserve property and equipment.
• Repair and maintain homes, facilities, and grounds to Sun standards.
• Respond to maintenance requests and document issues clearly.
• Maintain pools, vehicles, and equipment; assist with safety and compliance.
• Assist with snow removal, lawn care, and site cleanliness as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and coordinate with managers and contractors.
