Job summary

Sun Communities & Sun Outdoors is hiring Maintenance Technicians to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities in Colorado. You will handle home repairs, grounds care, and upkeep of streets, facilities, and utility systems while delivering excellent resident service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Prior maintenance and snow removal experience are preferred; a valid driver’s license is required and candidates must be able

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months maintenance experience in housing industry preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience with plow truck preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in temperature variations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on homes and facilities.
• Maintain grounds, streets, and common areas for curb appeal.
• Inspect irrigation and water systems; repair when needed.
• Operate snow plow and remove snow from streets and entrances.
• Assist with supervision of service contractors and daily tasks.
• Report maintenance issues to the manager and complete checklists.
