Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Porter to support maintenance tasks across our communities. The role involves daily on-site duties, care of grounds and common areas, and assisting with make-ready units under supervision.

The position emphasizes responsive customer service to residents, adherence to safety guidelines, and collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to sustain property standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Cleaning, trash removal, and general maintenance of grounds and residential areas; includes make-ready units and common areas.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community spaces, buildings, and units in a timely manner.
• Ensure repairs and replacements for community spaces and units.
• Daily exterior area maintenance including grounds and common areas.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds and buildings daily to identify hazards and liability concerns.
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to extend life of the community.
• Follow Asset key policy and maintain safety standards.
