Job summary

Home Life, Inc. in Corvallis, OR, is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for Monday–Friday shifts between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM, guaranteed 30 hours per week.

The DSP assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently and engage in the community. Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for Employment: pass a criminal history check and periodic rechecks.
• Citizen or lawful work status in the United States.
• Must be 18+ with driver’s license, insurance and good driving record (if driving).
• Required training attendance and ongoing education.
• Regular attendance and ability to follow the description with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Supervisory: None.
• Report to Program Manager and adhere to policies.
• Document hours by clocking in/out and submit timecard changes.
• Collaborate with staff to deliver quality services.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect individual information.
• Read all pertinent documents each shift and communicate with staff.
