Job summary

Asset Living is a leading property management partner providing leasing and resident relations support across the United States. The Community Assistant on-site role handles leasing, marketing, and maintains positive resident relations at a property.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Full-time hourly role with benefits including health/dental/vision, life, disability, and a 401K with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Property Leasing and Administration
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour community, and sign a lease.
• Close the sale with appointments, lead generation, tours, and follow-up.
• Complete leasing paperwork prior to move-in
• Assist with lease audits, walking units, and turn process.
• Maintain prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to leads within 24 hours
• Use sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic and achieve leasing goals
• Perform various administrative tasks
• Deal with resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction
• Assist in resident retention programs (events, promotions, newsletter)
• Contribute to upkeep of office, common areas, and model
• Assist in annual marketing plan outreach
• Review market surveys/analysis to generate ideas and plans
• Maintain knowledge of property and market conditions; weekly market surveys
• Customer & Resident Relations: monitor service requests turnaround
• Project a favorable image of the community and enforce policies
• Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters
