Job summary

Redwood Communities, Inc.—Mayfair Towers in Huntsville, AL—seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations, ensure HUD compliance, maintain accurate records, and deliver excellent resident service.

The role emphasizes leasing, regulatory paperwork, rent administration, and coordination with the Property Manager. 24 hours weekly, hourly pay $22–$24, with on-site duties and occasional travel; COS or HUD housing experience preferred; Flexibility and strong communication required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in multifamily housing, with at least 1 year in affordable/HUD housing.
• Working knowledge of HUD 4350.3 Handbook, TRACS, and EIV.
• Proficient in property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing activities, show apartments, process applications, and prepare lease paperwork.
• Maintain HUD compliance, certifications, and file documentation.
• Collect and record rent, post charges, and monitor delinquencies.
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and resident relations.
