The Atlantic District in Manassas, Virginia is seeking a Principal Insurance Agent to lead growth, operations and client service for a dynamic Farmers agency. You will build trusted relationships, guide clients through life’s transitions and shape the future of the firm with your expertise and dedication.

You will lead community engagement, drive policy value for clients, and mentor staff while maintaining a strong local presence that protects families and businesses alike.

Qualifications

• Virginia Property and Casualty Insurance License.
• Five or more years of experience in insurance sales or account management.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and personal lines coverage.
• Proficiency in using agency management systems and digital lead tracking tools.
• Deep roots or a strong desire to serve the Manassas local community.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a book of business by connecting with local families and business owners.
• Analyze current market trends to ensure clients are receiving the best possible value.
• Act as a primary point of contact for resolving policy questions and complex claims issues.
• Host community events and meetings to represent The Atlantic District and build lasting local partnerships.
• Mentor junior staff to ensure the entire office maintains a high standard of accuracy and care.
• Identify unique risks for clients and propose comprehensive solutions that offer peace of mind.
